It may be a stupid question, but how do I get the stock fuel pump block out of my block with out splitting the case. I tried to get it out when I cracked it  , but it broke an inch from bottom. I have an original 63 bug I'd like to keep it looking original under the deck lid. I could let it stay in and run an electric but that's not 63. Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks in advance. :)

If it's a stock 63, your running 6 volts. Good luck with electric fuel pump.
