 Post subject: Wont idle

Got a stock motor, it turns over and runs good for about 20sec and then cuts out. It idled fine about 3 weeks before i started wiring it up , setting up throttle cable and everthing. It also sat outside, but had a tarp over it, if that means anything. any clues what to check? thanks

Id say just give the carb a goood once over and see where your at after that.

If it is a stock solex take that gold anti dieseling valve off the side and clip the copper wire off or plug it off with a bolt.Past that, look for intake leaks.
