Google VW aircooled valve adjustment.B4 you start check the condition of your push rods. See if the heads aren't beat down inside the rods and look for a 3/4" long clean silver spot where they may be flexing and rubbing the block.Noticeable rev and power loss. |

still plenty of power and rpms but gettin a little noisy on passenger side |

Compression Stroke Its #1 at TDC with your rotor button pointing at #1 plug wire on distributor,adjust to .006",then 180 degrees ccw or 1/2 turn ccw, then do #2 then another 180 degrees or 1/2turn ccw to adjust #3, then another 180 degrees to adjust #4.1-4-3-2 firing order .006" tight all around.try this.I copied it from another post,then had to redo it after reading it lol.but try this.Chad |
