Have any of you guys ever wrapped your header with exhaust wrap before? I know it helps when a motor is under a hood or enclosed but i was curious if it would help on a buggy motor? |

I used some on my 2.2 to keep from melting my belt cover. Worked great for that. |

i thought about this too buck, but i'm afraid it will get so much mud and water soaked into it and then rot the exhaust? |

Jeff is right. I've heard it will rust out your header pretty quick. Guess you could unwrap it after a ride to let it dry. I had to wrap a small section of header on my wife's buggy, Im afraid to unwrap it cuz I think there will be nothing there....pipe gone |
