I cranked Austin's motor for the 1st time after the oil shaft incident. It had some faint pops at idle and would belch fire after letting off the gas. Where the ceramic coated EMPI header turns out of the #1 exaust about 4 inches from the head, there were several pin holes that had burned thru and we could see fire thru the holes. This is where raw air was being sucked in to make the backfire. He was so mad. A $200+ header trashed. Can't EMPI make the pipes just a little thicker? NO! They want repeat customers. MORE CHINESE CHEESE!
