If you want to run pump gas AND you have hogged out heads, you need to be careful on your cam selection. Don't go crazy with the profile. Even a 2276 with stock cam and stock heads runs it's ass off. Add ported heads, dual valve springs and a MILD cam and hang on. Add high compression and race cam and it's the best it can be.
Hogged out heads are not always the best decision. Bigger is not always better. Someone stated this before...........everything has to work as a package. It depends on what you want to do. It requires a recipe.
