Post subject: Lost a sight glass off Solex 30/31

I have lost the sight glass off of my Solex 30/31 carb. and of course have a vacuum leak. Anyone know where on of these can be purchased or have another solution? Have a cork stuck in it right now! :lol:

Do you mean the little plug on the rear of the carb? If so sand down a penny to just fit it, stake it and JB weld it in.

Engine backfire will pop those out.
We use a dime and JB weld.
