Did some checking around on tires today. Found these 32 x 12 on a 12 rim, 40 lbs. What are your thoughts, it is also a 4 ply. They also make a 35 x 12
Not sure what it weighs.

35x12x12 thats a small diameter rim.not much room to tuck a caliper up in it.chad

15 inch rim, 12 inch wide, that better?  Around $270 for the 32, and $320 I think for the 35". Nope Ody, no budget for them yet, just looking for a better tire design for us, not sure on this one yet.

ive thought about them tires also but was wandering how to cut the overlapping design in the center to open it up a little

I wouldnt cut them, they are designed to be flexable already. |

The lugs on those are thin and will not last long in the woods. Especially at places like Wellsville or any other Rocky terrain. |

Got a set in for a customer back in April. He's building a new buggy and hasn't tried them yet. They are made for desert use so they are pretty beefy. Lugs are directional and have some decent meat on the back side of the lugs. Look real promising but like Steve said, stay away from the sharp rocky terrain.

Place at silver lake dunes this morning said $280 each. Didnt feel like they needed cut, just broke in a bit. |
