nitro_mudder wrote: I think the 15x14's will do, i need to check my offset. Usually you need 5" backspace with 3x3's. That depends on the rear cage design as well as shock mounting though. 2x3's need 4" backspace usually. |

Big scott, $1200 is way out of my range that I Want to spend. Afterburnt, this style any good as far as strength? The price sounds great and I assume I need to get adapters from instigator to go with them. |

I just got my rims, I haven't tried them yet. But this is what everyone is running, and they seem to be holding up for them. And besides, at $150 a rim, if you do mess one up that bad, it's not a whole lot of money. Dave |

You guys need to shop around. I got 160 ish in my alum.pair & I bought 4 carbon fiber 14 wides over the last 6 months with the cheapest 55 bucks to 90 for one with a perfect Hoosier still mounted. Watch ebay & bid till you get em. I probably bid on 30 & won 6. Depending on where they are I might be able to pick em up & save shipping. Nitro, the adapters Russ sells are monsters. Its the only set youll ever need. I used to bend VW adapters. These aint bending. |

Ok next saga in this tale. I've got someone willing to trade wide 5 aluminums for my steels. But, I'm having trouble finding any weld on beadlocks for the aluminums, any ideas? And sorry Ody, but I cant afford the bad a$$ ones your buddy makes. Also any idea what thicknes I need these rims to be to be any good in the woods? I'm waiting to hear back on the specs. |

No problem, I would try Drews for aluminum weld ons. They have them now and then for around 150 a set. Another source is MRWs. nitro_mudder wrote: Ok next saga in this tale.
