So, I mounted up my new 8 ply 'stones on my welds (15" tall 14" wide 5 inch backspacing), and put them on my adapters I got off instigator. I also have a set of 2" wilwood wheel spacers off my uncle's late model that I thought I would NEED. Well I mounted the wheels up, thinking they'd rub my shocks without the spacers, and I have about a half inch between the sidewall and my shocks. Do you guys think that the tires will baloon out and rub or would it be beneficial to run the wheel spacers for the extra width (2x3 arms already)? I can't seem to make up my mind.

I like 1" clearance,,,you might get Instigator to make you a couple of 1/2" spacers . He has the measurements in his computer already.

Have thicker adapters made, that way you will have 2 things in one, instead of 2 separate things or get some 4 inch backspacing wheels. Since your uncle races cars, you should be able get a set of wheels no problem, just my $0.02 Chad 8)

I know what youre saying chad, but I just got these wheel adapters and already got them threaded and chamfered, plus a 4 lug spacer would be lighter because it is smaller that the entire adapter. P.S. I got these wheels for 30$ a piece

And let me tell you for those that don't know, Russ (instigator) is a standup guy, he is making and sending me half inch 4 lug spacers! Great, great guy!!

This is just a thought but do you have space to run your shocks inside the frame instead of outside???
