I got some 15x12 aluminum beadlocks formy boggers and the bolts were 1/2" short so I bought some 1/2" longer,,now I have 1/2" of thread sticking to the inside. Should I replace them one at a time now with the originals? And how tight should they be? I got them squeezed down now to about a finger nail gap between the ring and rim.

The only problem I see with having the bolts sticking through so far is when you take them apart. If you didn't get coated bolts they will rust up making it difficult to remove. As far as torque I know it's real light from the factory, couple of ft lb. Keep in mind the tires that normall live on a beadlock are a two ply race tire, so thin when they are wet you can see air bubbles comming through the side walls. It dosen't take a bunch of clamp force to keep a light tire on the wheel.

Not to sound like Mr. Obvious, but if you do go back with the shorter bolts, might wanna carry 3 or 4 longer ones with you in case you need to put a tube in or sumthin on the trail .
