Spray them with PB Blaster and let it sit for a few days. tap on the nuts on occasion to help the Blaster penatrate. If that does not work heat your nuts up with a torch.

This might sound crazy but I have loosened lug nuts by smacking them REALLY hard with a big hammer. You might also want to try a four way lug wrench rather than a socket...

What kind and size of impact are you using? Do you have a compressor that can handle you’re impact? A lot of times it’s not the impact it’s the compressor that can’t put out enough CFM’s to run the impact to its full potential. The weakest ½” IR impact requires 24CFM and most small compressors don’t put out more than 15-20CFM. Can you borrow a better or bigger impact if you have a compressor that can run it?

I had a 3-1/2" drive ingersoll rand that puts out 80,000ft-lb of torque but it required 375 CFM. That should break your nuts loose. I almost busted a nut trying to lift it. 600lbs :)

kano laboratories (615)-833-4101 or (800)-311-3374 kanolabs.com located in nashville, tn.

you can order it directly from them or do an internet search as there are many places on the net to order from, it is pricey (around $11 bucks for a 10 oz. can) but well worth it imo

the plant i previously worked at had it in the tool crib as the millwrights around here are crazy about it and i could purchase it there (i bought a wholoe case from tool crib before they ran out) but since they shut the doors last year i have recently found it somewhat locally at a place called metal fasteners which is similar to a fastenall

No problem converting them to studs. Just go to the local parts house with a drum in hand and get lug studs that will drop in the hole except for the nurrelled part. Now just drive it in the rest of the way with a hammer and get nuts to match. This will damage the threads in the hole so there is no turning back.

14mm x 1.5 bolts, You will have to grind the head round on the bolt then a cut off wheel and cut a notch in them for a screwdriver to put them in with. Look in the parts for sale some-one has some for sale. viewtopic.php?f=7&t=7136

you can buy a stud kit form Moore parts, comes with the stud and nut. The studs screw in and don't mess up your threads. Sometimes the stud may come out when you try to pull the lug nut, but still work pretty well..

Could also tack the studs from behind to keep them in. Just grind it down a little to remove them if you ever need to.
