How do you think come 31" cut buckshots (well mud terrian, but same tire design) would do in wellsville? im running a 3 rib and my motor is a counterweighted crank and lightened flywheel, 2 barrel carb 1641.

The 31's will be less harsh on that tranny than a taller tire. Get ready to wind out kinda quickly with the 3 rib . Pick short hills.

That is what Smitty runs on his buggy hands down one of the best climbers you will ever see. I also run them.I have a 2332 with a six rib they also work good with my 1641 and 3 rib.

does any one have a pic of these? i had brand new 31x10.50x 15 put on my jeep and some little punk thought it would be neat to hear them leak out the side wall!!bastard! anyway i was thinking i could put a big patch on the inside and run tubes in them, cut down of course, they should be pretty meaty. in reading you guys talk about it, i have a fresh 1641 with a stock(i think)3 rib, would that be a good combo and what size rim would i need, 8" or 10"? i've kinda got an idea from looking at the lugs how i think they should be cut out but would like to see a pic before i totaly destroy them and a 12 pack! ha thanks

You can Cold Vulcanize the tire and run it. I had a 1/4" X 1 1/4" hole in the side wall of a "V" thread and I have some hard riding on it ands still holding air with no tube,.
