Does anyone have any experience with Ground Hawg tires? I know this is a Firestone vs/ Bogger world, but I like to try thinking outside the box.
Back in high school, I ran 35" hawgs on a '70 chevy and they were awesome! When they wore out I went with 36" super swampers and they didn't compare to the hawgs in the mud. I didn't even know you could still get them until I ran across some the other day online. They are 6 ply bias. One downside I see so far is maybe the lack of sizes but I haven't searched much so I could be wrong on that. The ones I saw were 34.5x13.5x15
It's a given that no matter what tire you get, you're gonna have to cut them. I took a little time to see what the hawgs might look like with a nice cut on them and this is what I came up with. I dunno but they look pretty damn good to me. What do yall think? I left a little tread towards the bottom uncut so you could see what it started with...

How are they priced compared to a Bogger?

I thought they don't make them anymore, but if they do, they are very heavy-duty tires and heavy too. I used to run them on my old 4x4 back in the school days and they are tough. I was running 40x16.5x15 then and the tires and the rims weigh almost 150 lbs each. I personally think that boggers are the way to go today

Not bad, I got me a set same size for $500 and they are brand-new!! I got them from a guy that was working on a 4x4 project, but he got laid off and he had to sell the parts and I ended up with the 2 tires out of 5 he had and nope he does not have anymore left.

I ran them back in the old days on my mud truck. I got four 44" ground hawgs for $100 but that was back in 96. For mud they did ok but I got my ass handed to me several times going against guys with boggers.
