I'm running Steels right now that came on the tires (4 ply 45* V's) But I have Aluminums as well at 2 different off-sets. I think I have enough power for it to be ok with the steels. see vid link below.

Your aluminum front wheels won't last long in the woods.
Those are spindle mount sand wheels.
Great for the dunes or sand drag racing but not up to off roading.

As far as wheelies go, they are fun till you break something.
And you will break something doing that.

We all seem to go to great lengths to keep from doin wheel stands. On flat ground that's fun, on a hill not so much.

I know mike, been a concern of mine. I'm hoping to get to ride some hills this weekend to try it out on some hills. Still need a front bumber and tree bars. I hope the weight will help some.

if it gets a wheelie that easy i would be putting the steel wheels in front for some extra weight, them quad 4s has got a little power,i think 180 hp right out of the car,it will get a tranny if ur not careful,u going to tn this weekend?

Wheelies are cool. Mike is right about trying not to lift the front. I am not an advocate of adding weight to a buggy but it is a good idea to move around what you already have. Maybe put the battery up front. If you have room move your seat up a little. Extended trailing arms will help. Unless you like the wheelies. In that case give 'er hell.

The spindle mounts I have seen have had bearing problems in woods buggies. I ran a set of .190 Mitchell wide 5 wheels for years and did horrible things to them without ever having them so much as a leaky tire.

A stiff rear torsion and a motor with plenty of power will cause a wheel standing S.O.B., you may want to loosen up your torsion a bit or run lighter shocks.

Not gunna make it down there b4 spring probibly Chris. I want to do a few runs up here to get t dialed in a bit b4 I drive down that far. I do want to get down to a few good events next yr with you guys tho. I think I want to add front breaks to it. I plan on driving on the street some as well. And it allready has 2x3's on it but the rear is very stiff. Got 104" wheelbase and the seats are pretty far forward. When my buddy Jumped in it didnt wheelie very well. So I'm thinking the bumper, steel wheels and treebars ought to tame it a bit. And if not I'll mount a full cooler up front. Then it will be ok till its empty and I'm drunk.
