i run cut 31-15.50/15 v treads tires not sure of brand but with a regular 5 wide rim with 4 bolt adapter the tires dig really nice but cant keep the bead on the rim anyone ever use those screws out of summit for your tires to hold the bead on if so how do they work good/bad not worth the 20 dollars

Frankenbuggy,,congrats on mod job,, I run different tires on different rides..I like the firestone 31x15.50x15 8ply mounted on 15x12 steel wheels the tires are cut by jellyjr and sharpened by me for hill climbs. I use babychains 17tooth over 17 tooth and stock 6 rib with my suby 140 hp . The babychains put the tires back about a foot from stock and out about 5 inches on each side ,,so I guess they would be called 5x12's. This combo works fine for me. I have the option to change ratios to 18 tooth over 17 tooth for my 35x10.5x15 boggers cut and sharpened on 15x10 steel wheels. This combo is like a 5 rib. 19 tooth over 16 tooth makes the 456 stock 6 rib like a 3 rib and might be good with a taller tire but I don't think I have enough power to turn the taller tire very well. I am anxious to upgrade to aluminum beadlock wheels some day. I also want to try a cut bogger in a 33 or 35 as wide as I can get once I change my engine . I like this forum and look forward to lots of ideas

I would love to re-try them again now that I have tuned in and learned to control it.

Say what you will Mike. You'll get a chance to prove it here in about 5 days. I am guessing you tractors will be spinning out till you hit Vtech then the will spinout faster.
