I am running 33" swampers that someone destroyed one of the beads on each tire. I got a set of 10" wide bead locks and plan on putting the swampers on the bead locks. I ran these tires all last year with tubes in them and my question is does any one run tubes and bead locks? Or should I skip the tubes?

Tubes are just extra unsprung weight. Carrie up extra tube in your toolbox that way if you do have a flat its a easy fix . I don't run tubes but always keep one in my tool box .

I ruined a sidewall a couple years back and put a tube in because tire was otherwise in great shape. the problem I had with tubes is when I went down to 5-7 psi I would pinch the tube in less than a days ride. Bought a new tire now because flats suck!
