Wondering what wheel width would be best for my tires. Running stock wheels right now and the tread is rounded. I'm only using the center 2-3 inches of my tires. Running destination m/t 30x9.50. Debating between an 8" or 10" wheel. 8" is $20 cheaper per wheel but figured 10" would would cup the tread a little giving me more edge bite and be better when I move up to 12.50s. Any input appreciated. Posted using the WoodsBuggy Mobile App |

What air pressure you running? Might want to drop down to 5-10 psi, that'll get more tread on the ground. I was running 20 psi in my worn, resharpened v-treads and was advised to drop to 5-10 psi, it made a world of difference. I'm no expert but the wider wheel may also make it easier to pop a bead. |

These tires are so stiff I can take the air out completely and they look the same. The bead popping was one of my concerns going to a 10" rim but with the stiffness of the tires I can run 50 psi to hold the bead and the tire sit the Same as if I was running 5 psi so I'm not to worried about that.
