Post subject:  V-Treads or Terras?

I am building a new buggy with a 1915cc engine with a scat cam and dual 44s, in a sandfox frame. I mostly ride in Trevorton and St.Clair and I'm not sure which tires would work better for my setup and for the places I ride. Any information would be helpful.

I've seen that too. I was thinking about purchasing a tire cutter and cutting the tires after a trip or two and see if it makes a difference. In the meantime Ill check out paddles and prices.

V-treads definately, you may want to venture out to some other locations and terra's just don't hook up like v's do. JMO

I would agree... V- Treads will give you more options and the ability to go visit other parks.

hillstomper,
thats where I ride, where u from, I am in Pottstown. heading up 2nd week of NOV to Trev. If you want to be dedicated to the hills say 80% hill play 20% trail go with paddle, if you go 5050 trail go vtread, you can sharpen the vtreads to do some nasty stuff (look around the forums on how to modify) if u got the doh get both. If you ride mostly St. Clair stay vtred. I run interco un modified vtreads with stock 1600 straight propane turbo t25 and even before the turbo and propane I got through everything I pointed at, (with in reason) baby coal hills for me, I also have a buss 2ltr I got for cheap that I am putting in later.
I hope ur close hit me up.. Always lookin for another to ride with.

Now I am considering running a 5 or 6 rib trans along with the 1915cc engine, will the trans and engine have any effects on the v's, traction wise?
