This 31x15.50-15 is still on our list of projects but it was pushed back because of other circumstances with the factory. Those factory circumstances are now at a point where we can begin getting more serious about this project and I have a couple of questions for you. A tire like this would fall in the ATV tire category which is OK. You mentioned the Bogger tread pattern with the small lug removed as what you think would be a desirable pattern. This of course can be done because this tire would not have to be DOT approved for highway service. We would appreciate it if you would share any comments you may have on the AquaTorque tread pattern; you may have seen it but if not there is a picture on our website;www.intercotire.com. Our people have been considering the AquaTorque pattern for this tire. They understand the lugs on the AquaTorque would have to be opened more but since either design will require a new mold this is not a problem. If we can get this in the works everything I said in my previous email as to the time it would take to get his done is still about the same. Do you know if there would be a need for this tire in a rim diameter other than just the 15 inch? The lugs on the AquaTorque can be reinforced to cut down the chances of ripping lugs off although some lug ripping is to be expected on either pattern if the power is there. Hey Guys, I have emailed Patty a few times, but I haven't gotten a response. I have not tried to contact her in a while, but I will give it another shot. Last I heard she was going to design the Aqua Torque for us and let us try a set out since they already had the mold for that particular tire. I'll send out another email and see what happens. |
