I am looking at some Douglas wheels Not 100% sure what size I need... I have 3x3 arms in the rear and so far stock BJ Beam up front (next years project). I wanted to know what you guys thought...

15 x 15 with 2 inch BS or 15 x 12 with 2 inch BS

15 x 5 with 2 inch BS or 15 x 4 with 2 inch BS

Would like to find a deal if I could and am not in need of Douglas but like that style (Douglas/Centerline).

I need 205mm 5 lug as well (Wide 5).

let me know your thoughts please... if I do order online and I get a 15 inch deep wheel and I end up with a crazy wise rail I may not be able to send back.

Also interested in beadlocks if I can find 205mm

I dont think douglas makes a wheel NEARLY as strong as a centerline. I could be wrong. I would go with centerline!

How wide do you think? My buddy says better to run 4 inch wide rims with 33s or should I do 4 inch in the front with 10 or 12 or bigger in the back? I will have 3x3 arms with coil overs... Plan to do the arms and coils soon... I guess I could figure it out after?

to start with tire size plays a big role in what width wheel you should run but i wouldnt run anything wider than a 12 or 14 inch wide wheel personally and then only if the tire was at least a inch or 2 wider (ive run rear wheels in 10, 12, & 14 inch wide and fronts have been either 4 or 5 inch wide)

also with aluminum wheels especially douglas type wheels i would run at least 3 or 4 inch backspacing to keep from warping the center if its gonna be run in the woods

I always thought Douglas were more for the sand. Go centerline, or take a look at the BTR wheels.

Thanks guys, I wasn't sure... Centerline it is... unless I find some bead locks that I can afford... I may go with the 12 inch rim with 3or 4 inch offset for the back and 4 inch wheel in the front... I have no tires yet as well so I am looking for both. but in no rush... just planning. I have a lot of work to do to get there... Any idea if I can rent a welder or do you know anyone I can trust to show up to weld shock mounts for the rear? I just got in some Fox Emulsion Coil-overs... and have new dual pivot 3x3 arms to install...

hmmm that is not far from me... 45-50 min...

Why not go with weld wide 5 dirt track beadlocks with some wheel adapters for the rear? Most run 15x14x5. Can get nice used cheap, they only weigh 15lbs and can take a beating.

Yeah good point, I wish I had thought about that before I bought the wide 5 adapters with my brake kit...

This is not my set up but I have the same thing as far as the adapter...
