Has anyone run a set of cut Baja Claws? I see they're a 23 degree V tread so was considering buying a set and cutting out every other lug. Anyone done it?

I have looked into them, they look like a great pattern. The only problem is they don't come in very wide sizes.

I agree..In a 31'', 33'', or 35'' the widest they have is a 13.50 I think...Need to look it up to make sure. It wouldnt hurt to find a good source for tires and post it. Maybe some of the guys that have been working on buggies for a while can post a good site.

My set of 33s are only ok, but my last set of claws were cut and they did pretty good. All I did was just sawall every other lug, if I remember right it took a couple of hours a tire

We run the baja claws with the small lugs cut out. like they said the only thing i wish for is a wider size. We have had great luck with them.

Sounds good then, I'm looking for something narrower than my 15.5's as the places I ride are badly rutted by 4 x 4's

Do you have any photo's, or get some? I'd love to see cut ones before I take a cutter to a $500 pair of tires :)
