33x12.5 here as well with a stock 6 rib. I have had it to 90mph but its loud from the wind and spooks me because I built the front end, lol. But the gearing seams decent.

It really depends on what you want to do.. If you are looking to Race around tight turns and drag race off the lights, you will want to stay smaller.. If you want something you can use between trails, 31 - 33 would work best.

I've been using 31/10.50/15 for 3 years and there fine. I've cruised at 70mph and ran to 90 in third at about 6500 rpm with a 4.83 gear. i am going to buy 33/10.50/15 to replace those soon.

I have to measure my rims that I have tires mounted on now and see how wide they are (rims were widened years ago by previous owner) I think I will stay with 31's but width will be an issue for the tire I want to put on these wheels.

I have 16" wide rims (4lug) I think I will be looking for new rims and tires if I go to Wilwood disc's in the rear, anyone have any wheels and tires sitting around?

Ok, I am cutting down the wheels to 10" wide instead of 16". Then I plan on getting 31" or 33"tall for street mostly and some trail, the trans that I have is a reg. car trans. Will 33" be to much? What tires work well for both? Thanks
