wondering if anybody runs em and likes the 15x10 wheels?...wide 5 vw lugpattern the same as dirt track wide 5?

Wide 5 and VW wide five are different sizes. Bout an inch or two difference.

I've had a set of the BTR beadlock wheels for 5 or6 years and love them! I bet they are made at the same place by the same guy as the race trim wheels. You could drop your buggy out of a plane over the grand canyon and the wheels would be fine even if the buggy looks like a smashed beer can :mrgreen:

Like racebugg said, they look the same as the BTR beadlocks, I had for 2 years with no problems. I really like them.

it would be nice if some of those companys would make 4 lug wheels also :roll:

The wider the bolt pattern, the stronger the wheel. It might be a lot of strain on a "race" wheel to make it a 4 lug.

i figured that was the reasoning behing it but i prefer the looks of the 4 lug stuff especialy with disk brakes, it kinda looks like 2 "disks" when you got the wheel off, also i think the extra aluminum in a 4 lug wheel center would be lighter than the extra steel in a wide 5 hub, not to mention if somebody is already setup for 4 lug and has to add the expense to change all that over also just to get a decent beadlock. jmo.
