Has anyone used these 17-2795 & 17-2796 conversion bearing to run ball joint rotors on king/link pin spindles?

Just about every online vendor sells them.

Does anyone know what these cross reference too in Timken ?

i think these are the ones you talking about?

if so i would order 1 inner($10) and 1 outer($8) and then take them to the local parts house that sells timken and see if they can match them up and use the ordered $18 set as a spare jmo.

has anybody actually done this conversion?

i been looking into this again with no luck at the local parts house (if it even deserves the name) but it seems that even appletree and kustom 1 cant even agree on what the O.D. is supposed to be, and after looking at socal it seems they say something about a differentouter end on kp spindles and only using a special conv rotor so now im even confused on what to get :?

I had ordered the ones from socal, and they didn't work and they were just balljoint bearing they sent me and argued with me on the phone about it. I even went to bearings incorperated to look for some and they have every timkin know to man and they couldn't match anything up.

I've used the empi conversion kit ( link pin spindle to balljoint hub ) for years. I've had good luck with mine. But that is about the only thing I like about empi. IMO

Ok i ran up against this on my own to no avail

Trying to run my cheap ball joint disk brake set up (u may know 92 & 93 vw jetta rear disk or cut down drums (75-93 vw rear drums) and 88-91 honda civic disk brake)

Ended up that i had a set of boat hubs laying around 4x100 and some honda civic brakes that did fit

The ones I use to make required you to machine the rotor to except bigger bearings.
The bearing #'s
Inner Timken# 30205M 9\KMI
outer SKF# 32004 X/Q
