I ilke beadlocks for 2 reasons. They keep the tire on the wheel, AND they protect the wheel from bending. you loose that with an internal beadlock... and chicks dont see internal beadlocks

Tires are more expensive for a 16.5 wheel and they will be heavier due to being a 3/4 to 1 ton application

they are two piece internal beadlocks.... the ones on that page are the originals... now they make 15 inch any bolt pattern(including vw) with a lighter internal piece...locking both the inner and outer bead by pinching them against the internalpiece as the two halves are tightened together....

this version is made any size or lug pattern not just the military rim remanufactured. and weight of vehicle will not change weight of rim unless its a semi... same rims unless they are dually rims on all 1/4, 1/2,3/4,and 1 ton trucks... only diff between them is lug pattern and sometimes not even that

http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=979610

here is the new version which is not just reusing military hummer wheels

maybe someone on here could cut an aluminum rim in half and add centers like they have done in the new version to save weight

thats what the rebar rock ring is for..... and internal beadlocks should work on the chicks..i mean they believe it when you tell them you will pull out  so why wouldnt they believe you have an invisible beadlock

I'm bidding on a set of 15" combat rims at the moment which are constructed in exactly the same way.. except they're from 1957!
