i have run them both ways.i think myself they pull better ran backwards but they wear alot faster.i run quite abit of blacktop and it would roll the ends off the lugs fairly quick so i dont run them backwards anymore but for playing on grassy pipelines or reclaims you could do better running them backwards.also when you would get in deep thick mud it seemed to keep your tire up on top instead of digging straight down.this is the v tread i'm talking about.some people may disagree but if i never ran the hardtop i'd always have mine backwards.jmo.chad
