I am looking for a new welder. I do not need anything big. Just something to use on the buggy and some periodic other projects.. It will need to be 115V and I would like to have wire feed.. Thanks |

I use a Miller 115V MIG for 90% of all the welding I do, the other 10% is with a Miller TIG machine. Unless you plan on doing heavy welding, 3/8" or thicker a GOOD 115V machine is more than enough. Miller also makes a duel voltage machine, 115 and 220V. Again a good machine, got one of those sitting here as well. For the buggy stuff and around the house 115v is the way to fly. |

Im not sure what (if anything) they change when they put the Hobart stickers on a Miller, but the Miller version is a good welder! |

Funny you say that.. I can buy a Miller 140 or a Hobart 140 for the same prce. However, the Hobart claims to weld upto 1/4 inch steel and the Miller only claims 3/16 inch steel. |
