I am looking for a new welder. I do not need anything big. Just something to use on the buggy and some periodic other projects.. It will need to be 115V and I would like to have wire feed..

Thanks

I use a Miller 115V MIG for 90% of all the welding I do, the other 10% is with a Miller TIG machine. Unless you plan on doing heavy welding, 3/8" or thicker a GOOD 115V machine is more than enough. Miller also makes a duel voltage machine, 115 and 220V. Again a good machine, got one of those sitting here as well. For the buggy stuff and around the house 115v is the way to fly.

Im not sure what (if anything) they change when they put the Hobart stickers on a Miller, but the Miller version is a good welder!

Funny you say that.. I can buy a Miller 140 or a Hobart 140 for the same prce. However, the Hobart claims to weld upto 1/4 inch steel and the Miller only claims 3/16 inch steel.
