i got a 93 model lt-1 350 out of a camaro.its got around 60,000 on it. i bought it from deercreek a few years back for a project and never used it.i got the paperwork with it. tuned port injection, aluminum heads, direct dv water pump etc.never been apart.its been setting in crate since i got it. its a 300 hp p-code. i will take 700 or i will trade it for vw engine or buggy parts.

Does anybody know if i could swap this LT-1 into a 95 Chevy pickup without going through an insane headache? The tranny is a 4L80E with 4WD and has TBI.

Are you talking about swapping my stuff onto the LT-1 or just being able to hook everything up to the truck? Only reason for asking is,i hate to stick a stock motor back into the truck,it would be cool to have some dependable HP under the hood.Id love to be able to put a 6.0 litre in it but i know that would even worse of a job.Just looking for options so i wont have to get into 5yrs. of truck payments.

the front of this engine looks like a regular small block.the biggest difference is the coilpack is behind the dampner.painless wiring sells a kit to hook it up in anything.if some is interested i can try to put some pics on.i would love too trade this for a vw dual port.
