so i got board and decided to make some mud flaps but i dont know if i like them or not i still have to add a brace on the back that will help them stay up when they get mud on them.
Let me know what you think chuck em or keep em.

F What everyone else thinks. Do YOU like em? Do they work for YOU? If so then keep them. I would suggest using a plastic 55gal drum, lighter than rubber belting. |

I'm with Mike on the plastic drums. When the rubber gets loaded up with mud they are going to drop down on your tires. Unless of cource your going to add a steel frame with cross bars thats going to add more weight.. |

Looks fine to me. They will hold mud that adds weight, but so will your floor without them. Now figure out something for the front so I can copy it

Ours are just chopped mudguards from a double wheeled semi trailer, nice and stiff and already coated to release as much mud and dirt as possible. |

HI if you like them?? keep"em i was thinking about using some quad fenders if i can find some large ones like off of a raptor or something. of course my tires is not as wide as yours i have 8 inch wide rims on the rear of mine, the plastic 55 gallon drums seem to be popular and they are light and look good if you get a little creative when cutting them, they can look super good, if you spray the back side with pam cooking spray, armour all, tire shine, or WD40 the mud wont stick it falls right off! i always used it on my 4 wheel drive and my atv"s it worked pretty good give it a shot! |
