Before I bore a hole in my frame tell me if you guys think this is ok I am wanting to bore a 3/4 hole in my frame and slip a piece of 3/4 steer shaft in the hole and weld it in place to maks a sleeve to put my limit strap adj clevis thru . will this create any issues ? example

If you weld a sleeve in it it should be stronger then stock. If it's welded properly. |

I had thought of that idea, but also using the next size tube that when cut in half could be welded over the spot your were going to drill the hole in order to reinforce it. Where is the best place to get the limit straps from? |

David IS a sponsor, but doesnt advertise. He always gives money for event prizes, has contributed greatly to sponsor fundraising for the hillclimb series, and makes high quality straps for most WB.com members for less money than any other places can ship them , let alone their selling price. |
