Wanting to repaint my rims. What is the best Prep Method to get the primer and paint to stick to the powder coating? Or easiest way to remove the powder coating. Using a bucket fed sand blaster right now but doesn't seem to remove the powder coating.

You can sand the powdercoat just like if it was paint. It is a little harder to break the surface, but once it starts to dust up it will sand fine. Prolly 180 to get it sanding good and to feather out the chips and where you started blasting, then go back with 320 and it'll be fine. No need to strip it, just make sure its not shiny anywhere. If you are gonna rattle can the wheels, stay away from lacquer based stuff if you can. (Most are not lacquer anymore anyways) It likes to make old substrates lift at the edges.
