Ok got everything hooked up tonight. Put about a quart into it and its foaming. I assume this means its cavitating or something. Do I let it settle or run it or what? This is a new one for me.

Ok, took the pitman arm off so I could get some decent rotation. With my extended arm I only get 1-1/4 turns lock to lock. Took the cap off while it was running and when I turned it it sucked down the oil and was pumping air. Could be the problem, sooooooo I added more and ducked, lol. No problem, till I shut it off. It then proceeded to overflow, restart restart restart!! Put the cap back on and shut it off. Bubbled a bit more, but no overflow, whhheeeewwww. Did this a few more times, then put the arm back on. One handed easy steering with one and a quarter turns lock to lock wooooooooo hooooooooooo. Now lets see how long till I screw up the tierods or ends, lol.

Fill it without it running and turn lock to lock til it full. this will workout all the air
