My wife's uncle gave me a tow dolly so I am making it into a buggy trailer for my wifes buggy . I thought I would show some pics so if any of you guys ever see a tow dolly cheap they make a nice trailer .You can make a T- trailer just by extending the tongue . (which is just bolted on )I had all the metal laying around that I scrounged around and got some time or another except the 4 long angle pieces so I got $52 in it . I will put pics of the finished product when i am done .

Actually i am going to try to stack two on my car hauler when we go . I am building this one for when my brother or her uncle want to go with us and ride her buggy they can haul it and to just use some of the junk around here and make some thing useful out of it but mostly Just to do it to see if I could.

We were gonna go to D&K but some how that fell thru and we are now going to LBL you should come up and ride with us!!

Have a good time..

You've got me thinking now. I've got a dolly and was looking at trading it for a t-trailer... Now I'm thinking about converting it to a t-trailer... (I've got a really short wheelbase car.)

What kind of tongue load do you expect on that?

I am not sure . My buggy wont fit on it . I built it for my wifes buggy that I am building and havent loaded one on it yet but empty it is tongue heavy and the torsion housing on the buggy will sit right over the trailer axle so It should be just fine . I will update you as soon as I can

The saddles that the rear tires sit in was originally one piece and it could swivel I cut it into and moved them as wide as possible and welded them in place and it ended up 83 1/2 inches wide for the rear wheels. I made the front tire runners wide enough for a standard or 6 inch wider beam
I cut the part hanging off the back further than the rear tire saddles off and added flip up ramps I will add a pic later. It is at a Uncles house that has been short on work and wonted some thing to do so he is painting it for me :D :D :D :D
