The strongest set up are 3/4" chromolly heims, high angle spacers and steel swegded tubes.

I used the off road tie rods from Latest Rage. I believe they cost around 37 each but you will need to cut and retap one end to make them fit and ream out your spindles to fit the ford tie rod ends.

My woods buggy had the thinnest alum. tie rods I have ever seen, and I ran those for years without ever bending one. The only time I bent one was when I broke a link pin and wraped it around the coil-over  I then stuck it in the reciver on my truck and bent it back, and was good till I made a wider beam! IMO the hollow tie rods are way stronger than the solid ones. Also if you can run international ends, they seen to be stronger than the ford ends. Or heim joints are the way to go if you have the $. I also run alum heims.

Aluminum heims wont make it too far in the woods. For about $130 you can go 3/4 X 3/4 chromolly heims and steel tubes. I've been running them for 5 years now, $26 a year is pritty inexpencive.
