I just took delivery of a new Skat blast cabinet last week. I got it all together last night and tried a few pieces. If you're tired of eating sand, this is the tool to own. I never did much blasting ,but when I did I would just use the blaster in the driveway. All the media gets re-circulated and it runs really smooth. The vacuum is on the side and it takes all the dust out of the cabinet so you can easily see what your working on. I love this thing!

We have them here at work. They are awesome to clean things up with. I have taken some of my tools and media blasted them. Makes em not so slippery. Knives are pretty cool to do also. I like the dull finish though. Makes em look cooler to me.

Looks like a later version of mine. It would appear that the manufacture OEMs them for various companys.

That looks like a nice blast cabinet. I've gotten to use a couple like that and I really want one. Its on my long list of things to buy for the shop.

Buy a sand blasting outfit, then build a wood box with a plexiglass window, gloves going in the front, and legs on it. It'll save a bit of money. 8)

You shooting Soda or Glass beads? My personal cabnet is a glass bead. Works great. We also have another glass bead cabnet system forsale with pressure pot. You can fit a motorcycle frame in this one. 3 Stage system. Huge. Takes a huge air compressor too. I also have an Ultrasonic Cleaner from greese monkey. Ultimate carb and small parts cleaner if your cleaning alot. Also have 2 jet spray wash cabnets. One for cleaning cast iron stuff and one for cleaning aluminum.
