I've looked threw the ones that I could find on here. Maybe there is a few I haven't seen. Or a little more info ab the bottom mount "pivoting". Is that something major bc some look like they don't have them. And is there a certain angle or spot they need to be mounted. It can't be that hard to do just wanna do it right and get 100% advantage outta the bags. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

All I'll say is, if that isn't built and installed right, it will not work. |

I tried to fabricate lower pivot mounts, not machine, and they were pretty good but it didn't work, bag would flop one way or the other, I would say there not needed but it would definitely help prolong the life of the bags, if you want pivots I'd have madmike or someone machine a set, if not don't over think it and just mount them, I wasted a lot of time messing with those pivots and ended up welding them so they don't pivot lol |

That's what I'm thinking. Just mount them and be done. Thanks for the pics Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Here is what I did works good. I had it just mounted as you can see by the big base. Rode like sh*t. Change to the way I have it now world of differents. I would not even try to put bags on any other way now. |

The set up Mike built looks to me ( me not knowing much) would be the way to go .By letting the bag pivot looks like it would cycle more in a direct line thus making it much more efficient.JMO .And the stuff Mike builds is just rugged, bad ass stuff. |

Has anyone really ran lower pivots a long time ?? I would think they just need to pivot a a few degrees. Why do y'all think ?? Is the bag stiff enough to keep themselves straight ?? I've got 4 #3800's in a box waiting to find the time to install. Or should I just mount them so they are straight at mid travel ?? Thanks |

We've ran them seversl years now on a ac buggy and 1 year on a wc buggy. Had a lil problem with the wc one with the bag folding forward if I ran to low of air pressure. Made slots on the bottom mount to center the bag perfect and it works fine |

Ac only has 3"over arms and the wc has 6"over. I think the extra travel plays a part in it |

I have only installed bags on 2 buggies, but after talking to bag manufactures and trying a lower pivot, I have learned to install them as vertically as possible and forget the lower pivot. The lower pivot creates far more problems than it solves. I have used bags on 5x5 arms and stock arms, the only way I have found to make them work well is with solid lower and upper mounts.
