What's the width need to be from outside to outside. Running the red poly bushings. Not measuring the outer caps.

If I had a stock torsion housing I would measure it for you. My Funco only has one VW part, the next one will have zero.

The torsion was made on a jig for a stock torsion. But when we put the torsion bars in they try to shove the other out. We have the right spacers on the plates

Stock bars and ab 1/2in on each side with them pushed in ab even

I measured a buggy at my place from when outer cap bolts on and got 41.5"
It doesn't have torsion bars in it but it is a VW IRS tube. Image

Well mine is 40 1/2 and the one we having probs with is 39 1/2
