I'm having a hard time finding some frame horn bungs, the kind you would use if your making your own tubular frame horns. Anyone know where I can find a pair? What are you guys using if they aren't available - just welding in some Grade 8 nuts?

I always cut them off a junk torsion. But a grade eight nut would work

just use some 2 bolt flanges. I weld the rear bottom mounting plate to the tubes. You dont really need to remove it anyway.

No need to weld the plate to the horns, I like being able to remove it with my engine and trans as one unit. But a two bolt flange on each side isn't a bad idea at all. Especially if I combine it with a smaller short inner tube as a guide. Thanks

Looks like I'm still stuck on trying to find two frame horn bungs - aka weld-in nuts. Once I get an idea in my stubborn head its really hard to change it LOL. So if anyone has two stock Frame Horn Bungs in good shape (not cross-threaded) for sale please let me know. I will post in the Classifieds too, but wanted ask here since I already had this thread going about the topic. I will post back here when I no longer need them.
