I was gonna buy a mig welder and was wandering if the lincoln 140 would be big enough for working on the buggy? I have the gas bottle and such for it..or would the 180 be better.

I would get the 180 you could always turn it down

Yes the 180 for sure. I run a miller 252 which I use mine for other jobs but the 180 is what you want.

Ok i think I've found a new in box 180 for 400 bucks.. I'm hoping anyway..

Well I'm the proud new owner of a lincoln pro mig 180.. now I gotta wire it up so I can do something with it..

I spent 599+tax on my hobart 190 new on sale and love it, great deal you got, there are three versions from lincoln, lowes version (pro mig), home depot version(weld pack) (basically the same on these two) and the lincoln you can get at most dealers with some upgraded internals like aluminum drive bits instead of plastic etc. (the power mig 180C) you got a great deal if its like new the pro migs run 670 or so when not on sale. if its been sitting in some dudes garage make sure theres not much corrosion in the liner. my brother in law loves his lincoln, I bet you will too.
