I've been trying to research the thru rod setup is it actually a soild all thread type rod that goes thru the beam or could someone explain to me how they work maybe with some pics

There is a stack of flat springs that are stacked in such a way to form a square. The end of your arms have that square. Those rods go all the way through from one side to the other with a set screw on the end of each arm. The thru rods are round bar stock with nuts on the end. Thus they don't get fit the square in your arm so the arms just rotate on the rods. The nut keeps the arms from coming off. No torsion springs (flat bars) means you have to run coil or air shocks.

Here is a pic with the Thur rods pulled half way out of beam, if that helps

Yeah that picture is very helpful do they seem to hold up to a lot of abuse and what size should I run 1/2 or 5/8
