Not knocking on the ball joint front end but why mess with. Get rid of ball joint part and put kingpin. If you look close we cut a king pin and made it fit ball joint.

no one builds them because of the limited travel that a ball joint has.. it kinda defeats the purpose

If you want ground clearance u can make drop spindles the ride won't be near as nice as longer arms. You can't get the travel out of a balljoint as you can kingpin.

Yes to boxes with motorcycle sprockets and chained together broke a box so Paul (lpb) and I built this worked pretty good.

Not hating on kingpin but it's so much easier to knock a ball joint in rather than rebuild kingpin I didn't know I figured I'd ask before I tried to build a set :)

not sure what your looking for , but they make a clearanced balljoint for more travel! and if your looking for height, instead of the drop spindles you could always weld the adjusters into your beam

I cut mine and added 2-1/2 inches to them. Had to notch the ball joint a little but it still isn't enough. I've seen different balls that travel farther just haven't looked into it more. If you go to much then they bind up and don't allow the travel your trying to get anyways with the stock ball. Another thing with the extra length it weakened the front torsion springs and I had to run a little more in the shock. But with the length of the new arms plus 3" raised spindles I got killer ground clearance with just stock 3 rib tractor tires and it rides great. Chad
