This is my custom pig tail exhaust. Its made from a set of vw torque tubes two pieces of straight 2" pipe two 45* bends and two 90* bends and a set of old headers for a chevy i cut small bends off to make the loop. 4 to be exact. Its still rough i have a few small leaks i will weld up and smooth the welds down. I want to wrap it in header wrap. Will it be ok to do this? I will add a tractor flap to keep water out. Plus i like the ting ting ting when its ideling lol. And i will drill a hole in the bottom of the pig tail and thread it for a small screw to drain any water that get in it. What do you guys think for a 20 year old with a sawz all, harbor freight wire welder and a little time to spare lol.

Never seen the alternator, generator combo before. Make sure you keep an eye on generator. If it doesn't turn you'll lose the fan and melt down. Heat is your enemy on these. If it doesn't turn or slips you could over heat. Just my opinion. Shows some real creativity. good luck and keep up the good work.

Hey that's cool. That aluminized pipe they sell at the store doesn't weld very clean so make sure your cleaning after every pass with a wire brush. Your fitment looks real good!
BTW. I happened to notice your fuel line dangling. I'd take a bout a foot out of that so it doesn't get hooked by something or melt near that new exhaust!

have fun

I like it never seen a pig tail before. And like some one already said that fuel line is sketchy to say the least I would also put the filter on the pressure side of the pump. Fuel pumps are not very good suckers.

You should atleast have 2 filters one right after the tank and a micron filter on the other side of the fuel pump before the carb
