I have an RCI aluminum fuel cell in my buggy. I'd like to add a remote fill for it. Anyone have any good ideas aside from buying one of the "fender fill" kits from Jegs or Summit? I think a good piece of hose would be fine but I need a plate at the top side to attach some sort of cap and neck for it.

Use a muffler clamp u bolt to go around your hose and drill a piece of flat plate or angle to attach it with. Chad

Do you have any junk cars around? A factory style fuel fill should have a tab on it and a lip at the hose end.
Good Luck

I have seen a few like this one you can see half way down the page:

I would like to do something like this as well... But I have a round flue cell... So not sure.

Hope that helps?

Has anyone ever seen a neck extension for the poly tanks. I'm mounting mine lower and it'll be hard to get at it with the pump handle. I've never seen a hose adapter that will fit in the threaded fill on the poly tanks but I figure I'll ask anyway. Ya never know...

I should prolly just get a metal tank and be done with it.

I think you just unbolt the entire flange and bolt a new one on. It should have 10 or 12 bolts holding that entire assembly on.

I apologize I was speaking of the cheap crap poly tanks. After some more research I've decided to upgrade to stainless which I can weld and modify to my liking.
