Watch what you buy as EMPI has a repop out now. Make sure its made by Eaton.

Might look into a hydrolic ram. I was told that the torque generators are hard on racks. Ask around, someone might know more.

For under $1000 you can go electric. No pumps, hoses, servos, rams or whatever else goes with any of the hydraulic steering systems. I'd strongly consider it if I were building a new one now. I went with the servo, ram and pump method and all the components are probably $1000 so the idea of electric is pretty convincing.

If you street drive your buggy then you will not like the Charlynn. I was told by the people at Howe that it would wonder all over the place compared to the servo and ram setup. Just thought I would throw that out there.
