I use plastic trash cans from Office Max. 4 bucks a piece. Cut them with snips to shape them how you want. Works perfect. Light weight.

What Roy mentioned is really the best thing to use, IMO. The aluminum ones sure are purdy, and strong. THey're just kinda heavy and it's been said that the weight of them vibrating so much will crack manifolds and/or studs. May never happen to ya, may happen the first few rides.
