It can be fixed however it will not be cheap. Maybe its time to rebuild on a new frame. There appears to be a lot of rust in the joint welds. No telling how much it has spread. Food for thought.

What happened? Man that sucks.unless this is a frame that has a lot of sentimental value than maybe you could build a new one for yourself.looks like the rear housing is tweaked to so unless you put it on a frame machine and twist it and rebuild it it probably wouldn't be right, and then you'll probably need to do a lot of cutting and welding to fix other welds from all the flexing.not saying it couldn't be done but you'll have to get some estimates to see which routes best for you. Yeah Kind of had the same feeling. Although I'm not looking for it to be perfect again I wouldn't want to spend more to fix it then I could just get a new frame. I was hoping for a couple new pieces of tubing and welding and it could be usable again. Seem to be though from what you guys are saying it might be "too far gone". The whole rear end is twisted. The motor and tranny were clocked sideways due to something being bent. ( still drove though just could only get it in 2nd). I dont know, guess I'll start tearing it down. Thanks for the opinions guys. Can't wait to be back on the trail again with everyone.

Wise decision. Sometimes we get to a point of diminishing returns and have to bite the bullet. This is one of those times. Good luck with the rebuild.
