 Post subject: Front trailing arm??

Im am fixing to start building me some extended front arms and im debateing on what materials i should use, which seems to work better round or square tubeing? What size and thickness works best?

use something like 1-1/4" OR 1-1/2" .180-.250 wall dom round tube.

I used 1.5" x 0.10" wall T45 (similar to your 4140 chromoly) for ours.

I think ima find a few sets of ball joint arms and see what happens lol. Either gonna work out or not. Only one way to find out!

Those beam mounted a-arms are cool, saw a company on the Internet that sells them. Class 5 cars can use them. Alot of advantages to them.

If I were gonna do that I would have at least put some camber gain into 'em and dropped the roll centres.
