Finally made it back home and ready to get some work done on the buggy! I did pick up a new tool for the shop, now I just need MadMike to take a vacation and come camp out at my shop and show me how to do something with it!

I had to blow the dust off this thing so I could work on it. :?

I did bend up a couple of tubes to add to the lower engine cage. I'm glad I still remembered how to use the bender.

I have first dibbs on it. Even though I have zero experience with CNC machines, I would learn to use it if I owned one. Scott if you have questions you know my number, help is just a call away.

Thanks, A lot of the hookups come from meeting the great people who are on this site and in this sport! Any info I can help you with just let me know, if you look back thru this build thread there should be pictures of everything I've done so far.

Thanks, I don't know how I missed them... if you don't mind I would like to try to do what you have done to set mine up as well... I wanted to incorporate some sort of plating as well to match my arms... you have a really nice buggy... I enjoy watching you guys build these... very inspirational...

Went over the buggy this weekend to figure out what I have left to do and how I want to go about it. I did tac the power steer reservoir and the K&n crank case vent. Also added another bar to the rear engine cage.

Post subject:  Re: New Stalker frame with turbo suby power

Well I finally got to take the buggy out for a shake down run last saturday and I am happy to say it is all I could ask for! Everything worked great, the suspension rides like a caddy and goes thru the rough stuff like a rock crawler. I know some people don't like 4 wheel brakes but after riding with it all day I should have done that to my old rail a long time ago. You can stop on the steepest hill at will and the front brakes never once locked up or caused the front not to steer. The power steering aloud me to drive thru the woods with 2 fingers on the wheel and no matter what the front wheels hit it never yanked the wheel out of my hand. And as far as the turbo suby engine I was wondering how it would do at low speed and how it would come up on the turbo when climbing, and it did great! It will idle thru the woods without touching the peddle and it will spool up as soon as you blip the throttle. We were at haspin acres all day and 2 problems come up, first one we got all the way to the back and I had missed a tach weld on my steer shaft and it broke. The power steering saved the day on that one as we clamped a pair of channel locks on the steering shaft and was able to drive it out. Took it off ran into town and had a local guy weld it up for 10 bucks. The second issue was the radiator spitting out fluid thru the overflow, got home and tested the cap and it would not even hold 1 psi of pressure. Replaced the cap and fixed that issue. I still have a lot todo to finish it up and then tear it apart and powder coat the frame and make it look pretty over the winter. but I wanted to get a few rides in to make sure that everything works the way I want it to and see if there is anything I want to change before I powder it.
